Anyone thinking their Apple Mac was more environmentally freindly than most computers and phones may need to think again? The slick, smooth, white and clean image that AppleĀ inc push out is not quite as it seems?
San Francisco is planning to ban its city officials from buying Apple computers after the technology company, headquartered nearby in Cupertino, dropped out of a green certification scheme the “Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT)” last week.
Apple’s environmental performance has increasingly come under pressure from campaigners such as GreenPeace and others and issues surrounding the Foxconn Technology manufacturing factory in China, Apple may need to think again?
